Education at Holy Trinity

 

Here at HTLC/LCM we pray that every person, young and old, will experience God’s love each time the doors open. We seek to “teach God’s story and the Good News of Jesus” and to nurture the faith.

 

Children's Ministry

We hope that our children’s ministry is the beginning of a life long faith formation and we can partner with parents as you nurture this faith. “Splash” is a monthly faith formation packet for children from birth to age 3. This is a resource for parents of young children and keeps them connected to the congregation. There are Sunday school classes for children ages 3 through grade 5. Vacation Bible School is held each summer.

A Nursery is available for children up to 4 years of age and is open during Sunday worship and Sunday school. It is also open upon request at special worship services.

 

Youth Ministry

HTLC’s youth ministry consists of the following aspects: Scripture (Study), Service, and Social (Fellowship). These become the three legs of a stool for the adolescent faith journey. Classrooms give way to community. Kids have fun, bond together, and learn at the same time. Middle school, grades 6-8, participate in confirmation classes on Sunday mornings. High school, grades 9-12, meet in the youth room each Sunday.

 

Adult Ministry

Adult ministry continues that journey of faith and is an “Opening the Book of Faith” congregation. HTLC has a variety of adult ministries including weekly Bible studies and/or book studies for men and women. There are a variety of adult classes held on Sunday mornings including Luther’s Café which is open for coffee, food, and fellowship.
