Education at Holy Trinity

 

Here at HTLC/LCM we pray that every person, young and old, will experience God’s love each time the doors open. We seek to “teach God’s story and the Good News of Jesus” and to nurture the faith.

 

 

Children's Education

We hope that our children’s ministry is the beginning of a life long faith formation and we can partner with parents as you nurture this faith. “Splash” is a monthly faith formation packet for children from birth to age 3. This is a resource for parents of young children and keeps them connected to the congregation. There are Sunday school classes for children ages 3 through grade 5. Vacation Bible School is held each summer.

A Nursery is available for children up to 4 years of age and is open during Sunday worship and Sunday school. It is also open upon request at special worship services.

 

Youth Education

Middle school youth grades 6-8 are encouraged to be a part of our confirmation ministry. Confirmation class meets from 9:45-10:40 Sunday mornings during the school year. High school youth meet on Sunday mornings in the youth room where they use the ELCA web based curriculum “Faith Lens”.

 

Adult Education

HTLC has a variety of adult ministries including weekly Bible studies and/or book studies for men and women. There are a variety of adult classes held on Sunday mornings including Luther’s Café which is open for coffee, food, and fellowship.
